POWER TRIP CASE STUDY

The Wharton School has published a business case entitled "AES-Telasi: Power Trip or Power Play?" as a companion study to the movie Power Trip.

The three-part case is accompanied by a Teaching Note for instructors, which includes cues for showing specific chapters of the DVD. Faculty and instructors who are interested in using the case in their classes should email a request for information to
coursematerials@wharton.upenn.edu

Wharton professor Witold Jerzy Henisz and Duke University professor Bennet A. Zelner co-authored the business case, which considers the management strategy employed by AES to run Telasi, the power distribution company for Tbilisi, the capital city of the Republic of Georgia. The professors traveled to Tbilisi to investigate AES-Telasi's role in the troubled Georgian power sector and interview several of the characters featured in the movie.

An inspection copy (not available for distribution) is available here in pdf form.

POWER TRIP POSTER
